Offset versus digital printing – find the right solution for you
Digital printing uses the image directly from a computer file. It stands out for its speed and full personalisation, even during the run. Digital print is perfect for short runs. Its advantages are flexibility and very low start-up costs.
Offset printing requires a plate to be made for the press. It is more expensive to set up and personalisation is impossible once the run has started. It does, however, offer higher quality and works excellently for large runs. Offset printing uses not only the RGB colour scale but also Pantone and other palettes. The advantages of this traditional method are unmatched precision and a sharp drop in unit cost as the order volume grows.

Full-colour CMYK printing
The CMYK colour model is widely used in printing because the result is predictable. Consistency between the image on screen and the printed piece is invaluable in graphic design work.
UV printing on non-standard surfaces
We apply durable, full-colour graphics to unusual surfaces such as glass, metal, ceramics and wood. We know the limits of each substrate and use high-quality UV-cured inks.
Precise cutting, creasing and gluing of advertising materials
We do not only print – we also finish materials so that they are as precise and attractive as possible. The result is a professional product ready for commercial use, whoever the end recipient is.
Finishing: matt, gloss, soft-touch and anti-scratch lamination, gold foiling
Sometimes printing directly on paper is not enough and various finishing techniques are needed. We use transparent scratch-resistant, matt and gloss films and more. These techniques do raise the unit cost of the order.
Spot (selective) varnish
Varnish applied selectively highlights chosen elements of a design. It works best combined with matt or soft-touch lamination. We recommend it for premium business cards, presentation folders, catalogue and brochure covers, wedding invitations and menus in high-end restaurants.

How to prepare artwork for print
Preparing artwork for print is not complicated, but it does require a few basic rules that guarantee a sharp image and saturated colours.
Set the scale to 1:1 and add bleed, which prevents white strips at the edges. Always allow a 3–5 mm safety margin so that content is not cut off by the guillotine. Choose the CMYK palette for full colour reproduction. Convert fonts to outlines and flatten all layers into one. Save everything as a PDF without lossy compression. We recommend PDF/X-1a or PDF/X-4 – international standards used in the printing industry.
